May Art Night

May 2nd, 5-8pm

Art Night is held the first Thursday each month and is always free and family-friendly. Keep reading to see what's going on this month!

Museum & Teer Gallery: Featuring The Woodworkers Association of West Alabama

The Woodworkers Association of West Alabama (WAWA) is an arts collective for woodworkers of all experience levels to gather, collaborate, and learn about woodworking as an art form. As a continuation of Kentuck's Year of Alabama Artists, the WAWAs will have many members represented in Kentuck's Museum and Teer Galleries to showcase their creativity and craftsmanship. The Woodworkers will show a variety of work--from large furniture pieces to small wine stoppers, and anything in between.

It's time for the biannual OOPS Sale!

Seconds, misfits, and things our Red Dog Potters are just tired of seeing in their pottery stashes. Find unique treasures in different shapes, sizes, and glazes. ALL PIECES ARE PRICED TO SELL: $1 - $10!

Growing Arts United Appeal Fundraiser: Donate $5 and get a complimentary glass of wine and an entry to win a special gift basket. Beneficiaries of funds raised by Growing Arts are Habitat for Humanity and Kentuck Art Center.

Gallery Shop: The Gallery Shop will be open until 8pm for browsing and buying. The Gallery Shop represents about 180 artists from across the country, and of those, 60% are from Alabama. It's the perfect place to get a one-of-a-kind gift for those people that seem to have everything.

Artists Studios: All twelve studio artists will have their doors open for browsing and buying.

Courtyard of Wonders: Enjoy live music by Mark & Anna Lee Palmer and pop up shops from local vendors.

ENJOY LIVE CHESS MATCHES IN THE COURTYARD! Play chess under the stars...or at least under a street lamp at the Kentuck Art Night in beautiful downtown Northport. Tuscaloosa Chess will be set up outside (weather permitting). Chess sets will be provided and of course, all skill levels of players are always welcome.

We hope to see you at Art Night!
