Art Night, July 3rd

T.E.M.P Gallery:

by Jamey Grimes

From July 3 - August 2, 2014, Kentuck Art Center will display a sculptural installation by Jamey Grimes, a Tuscaloosa native. Grimes describes his sculptures as fragments of a conversation with nature. He says, "The dialogue can be hostile, soothing or both." WASH is constructed of corrugated plastic which has been cut, melted and suspended from the ceiling.

On July 3rd, from 5p to 8p, guests can enjoy turntable sounds by Vinyl Showdown, cob oven pizza, homemade ice cream, open Artist Studios, featured Clay Co-op members, outdoor games, and an artist reception. The T.E.M.P. Gallery located in the Clarke Building is featuring the installation, WASH, by artist Jamey Grimes. Our Gallery Shop will be open as well so don't miss out on all the fun! *Art Night is funded in part by the Support the Arts License Tag Fund
